The report was delayed. I want to tell an
excuse but I will omit it. On July 10, we went to the National Institute of
Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) and the Japan Aerospace
Exploration Agency (JAXA). We left the university at 8:30. This is its report.
We used a charter bus this time again. If we
go as much as we like in many members, this one will be cheaper by using
trains. It is comfortable since we do not have to move in crowdness with groups.
I do not have to worry about losing someone.
We arrived at AIST just 11 o'clock as
scheduled. We took commemorative photos in front of the building with
exhibition hall
Palo of healing robot is surely a healed robot, and it is clearly understood that it is popular among those who are under medical treatment. It looks like a simple stuffed doll, but making and inside are very fine.
AIST has exhibits in various areas
including exhibitions of past technical assets.
We took a tour of JAXA from the afternoon.
After this shoot, we had lunch at one corner of JAXA's staff cafeteria.
Before the technical tour, we had received
explanation of JAXA as a whole. The video was as good as expected. That’s
because there are so many visitors coming.
They watched real space suit. The weight is
120 kg.
Overall picture before visiting the
operation room of KIBOU which is the Japanese experiment site of the
International Space Station. Real-time images of the Earth and the universe
sent from the space station seen in the operation room are impressive.
This is a shot when they saw the astronaut training
facility from the window. Photographs are taken by Chula OG, Dr. Piyarat, a
researcher at our university. She got in between us and the internship students from Chula, making
this training a smooth and meaningful thing.
Well, after the end of the general tour, we
went to the exhibition hall. I asked Dr. Nakamura for guidance and explanation,
he had taught for three years at university in Thailand. First of all, we got a
greeting in Thai language from him. Perhaps, I think it was a greeting. I do
not understand Thai.
Dr. Nakamura who is a truly doctor
(science) and also a professional engineer. The explanation was truly impressive
with Thai in English.
At the end, we took a memorial photo again.
Their smile is wonderful. It was worth preparing technical tour.
So, we left JAXA at 3:40 and arrival was not perfect at 6 o'clock
but we returned to our university at 6:01 on safe. This tour is held every
year, we are aiming to give them many opportunities that is not possible in
their country. It is our pleasure that we were able to carry on this
year without problem, and to feel to satisfy them.
