お父様が研究室に来てくださいました/ Ms. Napat’s father has come to our lab. Thank you.

　チュラロンコーン大学から研修生が来ていることは、これまで複数の記事で報告してきました。昨夜（６日夕方）は、Napatさんのお父様が研究室に来てくださいました。嬉しいことです。

  We have reported that internship students are coming from Chulalongkorn University with multiple articles so far. Last night (evening of June 6), Ms. Napat 's father came to our laboratory. It is a pleasure.

研修生のNapatさん、お父様とBuddyの坂本君、私の記念写真。お父様は、バンコクで会社を経営されており、東京でのビジネスの合間に訪ねてきてくださいました。若い時に米国に5年ほど滞在し、米国の大学を卒業されたとのことです。道理で、英語が上手というか、自然なはずです。

Napat-San, internship student, her father and her Buddy Sakamoto-Kun and me, it is my memorial photo. Her father runs a company in Bangkok and visited our lab. during his business in Tokyo. When he was young he stayed in the United States for about five years and graduated from a university in US. It is reasonable that his English is quite good and natural.

会社の方とご一緒に来られました。会社の方も同じく、自然な英語を使われていました。いろいろ世間話をしました。タイも日本も同じような問題を抱えているようです。

He came with a company colleague. The company member also used natural English. We talked a lot.  It seems that both Thailand and Japan have similar problems.

坂本君が、いったん彼女のアパートにご案内し、その後宿泊先のホテルまで送ってくれました。彼曰く、非常に緊張した、といことです。確かに、大切な人を乗せるときは緊張しますね。自分一人の時の運転とは、明らかに緊張度が違います。

Sakamoto-Kun took them to her apartment and then sent them to the hotel where they stayed. He said that he became very nervous. Certainly, when we carry an important person, we become very nervous. The degree of tension is obviously different from driving when we are alone.

　研修も残り１か月くらいになってしまいました。熱心に取り組んでくれている彼女たちためにも、多くの新たな知識の吸収や経験の機会を提供できれば、と思います。

  The internship program has been about 1 month remaining. I strongly hope that if we can provide many opportunities for absorption of new knowledge and experience for her and other students.  Because they are working diligently and giving us good influence.
