バタム国際研修 ２日目

　みんな元気です。暑さもあり、本当の疲れはこれから徐々に出てくるのかも知れませんが。今日は土曜日ですが、プログラムがありました。

  Everybody is very fine. Since it is very hot, their real fatigue may gradually come out. Although today is Saturday, there is a program. 

まずは、午前中のシーン

前列に本学の研修生、後列に彼らの面倒を見てくれるBuddyが座りました。UIBの日本語クラブの学生の日本語の流暢さには驚きます。Tony先生がスライドとジョークを交え、説明されました。

All students of our university in the front row, buddies in UIB, who will take care of them in the back row, sat down. I was amazed at the Japanese fluency of Japanese club students of UIB. Tony sensei explained using the slide with some jokes with laugh.

教室には、このタペストリー?がありました。このような可視化によって、研修に対する意識や向上し、友情も深まります。

There was this tapestry? in the classroom. Such visualization improves awareness about training and deepens our friendship.

自己紹介の一シーン。当然ながら一人一人ですね。

One scene of self-introduction. Naturally, it is conducted by each person.

Buddyも自己紹介を行いました。その後はテストとして、名前が覚えられたか、チェック？がありました。

Buddies also introduced themselves. After that, a test was made to confirm whether they remembered all names.

Buddyから一人一人にお土産がプレゼントされました。

A gift was given to each student from buddy.

周りを見ると様々な取り組みが、このような形で紹介されています。何よりも取り組みを大学全体で可視化、共有するということのようです。皆の意識が高まりますね。

Various approaches are introduced in this way when looking around. It seems to visualize and share attempts of the university. Everyone's consciousness will be enhanced.

■午後の部

バタムは人口160万人を擁する島です。決して田舎ではないです。島内には、６か所？の大きなショッピングエリアがあるとのことです。その中の一つに案内していただきました。学生諸君の生活物資、すなわちSIMカード、ミネラルウォーター、その他の大量購入が目的です。すみません、行ったモールと反対側の商店街を撮影しました。私もここで、土産物を買いました。

■In the afternoon

Batam is an island with a population of more than 1.6 million. It is by no means rural area. There are six? big shopping area. Tony sensei took us to one of shopping mall. Their aims is to purchase mass items of livingware, ie, SIM card, mineral water and other goods. I'm sorry, I shot the shopping area of opposite side we went. I also bought souvenirs here.

■夜の部

Welcome partyです。学食でやるのかな、と思っていましたが、Sea foodレストランが行先でした。途中で風光明媚なスポットを観光しました。そのあとは、御覧の通りの海辺に浮かぶレストランで。南国の涼しい風を堪能しました。

■In the evening

A welcome party was scheduled in the evening. I thought we do it in the cafeteria in the university.  Sea food restaurant was the destination. We took a sightseeing spot on the way. After that, we had at a restaurant floating on the sea side. We enjoyed the cool wind in the tropical country.

　明日（今日）、日曜日は完全OFFです。

いよいよ月曜日から本格的に研修が始まります。この２日間は、初めて外国に来た学生にとっては負荷が大きかったと思います。体調管理に気をつけて、元気なまま研修に取り組んでほしいと願っています。

  Tomorrow (today), Sunday is completely OFF. 

Training will begin in earnest on Monday. The last two days could become heavy load for students who came to a foreign country for the first time. I hope that they will take care of physical condition and work on the training with positive attitude.
