チュラロンコーン大学研修生の最終発表会(7/26(木)) / Final Presentation of IT training program by Students of Chulalongkorn University (July 26, Thr)

7月26日(木)にタイ・チュラロンコーン大学研修生の最終発表会を行いました。この2ヶ月間に取り組んだ研修成果について、質疑応答を含めて一人15分で発表してもらいました。

We had a final presentation of IT training program by students of Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, on July 26 (Thr). They reported their knowledge and skills they have learned for these two month. 15 minutes are assigned for each presentation including questions and answers.

今回は、チュラロンコーン大学のSuda先生、Chawan先生、Chulapong先生もビデオ会議で参加されました。Suda先生、Chawan先生はチュラロンコーン大学から、Chulapong先生は立命館大学からの参加です。チュラロンコーン大学、立命館、KAITの3拠点での中継でした。

# ネット中継の接続がうまく行かない場合がありましたが、何とかやり遂げました！

Aran先生は、都内で開催されていた国際会議ASPT2018に参加されていたため、あいにく参加できませんでした。

This time, we were very happy to have Suda-sensei, Chawan-sensei, and Chulapong-sensei join this session via video conference. Suda-sensei and Chawan-sensei joined from Chulalonkorn University, and Chulapong-sensei from Ritumeikan University. Thus, we had three connections of network, Chula, Ritsumeikan, and KAIT, for broadcasting the session.

# We had sometimes network troubles, but we could accomplish it somehow!

Unfortunately, Aran-sensei could not join the session, since he was participating in the international conference ASPT2018 held in Tokyo area at that time.

指導教員である上平先生、松本先生、陳先生、田中博先生、清原先生、坂内先生、西村先生、鷹野先生を始めとして、チュラロンコーン大学の先輩にあたるピヤラットさん、国際課伊藤様、そして多くのKAIT教員・学生が参加してくれて、大盛況の発表会となりました。

In addition to KAIT supervisors of Chula students, Uehira-sensei, Matsumoto-sensei, Chen-sensei, H.Tanaka-sensei, Kiyohara-sensei, Bannai-sensei, Nishimura-sensei, Takano-sensi, Dr. Piyarat who is a senior of Chula, Ito-san from the international office, and many KAIT teachers and students attended this session. We could have a very exciting time during the final presentation, thanks to nice presentation by Chula students and active discussion.

下記の研修テーマについて、12名7グループによる発表がありました。どの発表についても、背景、問題提起、提案内容がきちんと説明されており、また実験やデモの結果から、提案内容が実用性の高いアプリケーションに適用可能であることが示されていました。2ヶ月程でこのような素晴らしい成果を達成できたのは、本当に、チュラ学生が優秀であることの証であると思います。

We had the 7 groups of final presentations by 12 Chula students about the following study topics. In every presentation, Chula students explained the background of study, clear issues, and proposed method. Besides, they showed that their proposed method could be applied to some practical applications based on the results of experiments and system demonstrations. According to the fact that Chula students could achieve such promising results in just two months, we can understand how really excellent Chula students are.

全員の発表の後、修了証の授与式があり、上平先生から一人ひとりに手渡されました。一人ひとりの頑張りを称えたいと思います！

After the presentation, we had a completion ceremony. Uehira-sensei gave a certification of finishing this IT training program for each Chula student. We would like to appreciate every student's hard work!

この後、お別れ会を実施しました。発表のプレッシャーから解放され、みんな楽しんだようでした。あと1週間ほどでいよいよお別れで、さみしい気持ちにもなりますが、最後までいろいろな経験をして欲しいと思います。

After the final presentation, we had a farewell party. Everyone looked free from tension, and it seemed that they could have a fun time in the party. We sometimes feel sad since we have to say good bye almost in one week, but, it would be very nice if they can have a little more experiences until the end of their stay in Japan.
