チュラ研修生の研究企画の発表会 Presentation of research planning of Chula. students

　すでにブログ記事に書きましたように（リンク）、タイのトップ大学であるチュラロンコーン大学の学生6名が本学情報学部で研修を受けています。研修にはさまざまなプログラムが予定されており、研究も含まれています。本日は、研究計画の発表会がありました。英文添削は受けておりませんこと、ご容赦ください。
　As I have written an article before (Link), the 6 students from Chulalongkorn University, that is the top university in Thailand, are now taking an internship in the information faculty of KAIT.  The many kinds of program are scheduled in this internship including research activities.  Today, the presentation on research planning was held with gathering profs. and many KAIT students.  Sorry that the sentences are not corrected by a native checker.

本受入れの責任者である本学副学長、教授　上平先生から発表に先立って、本学とチュラロンコーン大学との関係や今回の研修の経緯などの説明がありました。
The responsible person of this internship, Vice president and also Professor, Uehira explained the friendship between KAIT and Chula. Univ. and background of this internship program before their presentation. 

会場の様子です。当初のセミナー用の小さな部屋から通常の講義室が使われました。多くの聴講者が参加しました。

みなさん英語が上手で、立派な発表でした。本当に短い期間で、よくテーマ企画として発表できたことに感心しています。潜在的な能力が高いのだと思います。

All students’ English was splendid and great.  We all were surprised at the contents of their presentation.  There was not so much time to investigate on the research themes.  It has passed less than half month since they came to Japan.  Their potential seems to be quite high.

終了後に、彼らにさくらサイエンスから修了書が授与されました。日本で研修をしたことの証となるものです。大切にしてくれるとありがたいです。

They received the “Certificate of Achievement” after presentation from Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science (SAKURA Exchange Program in Science) provided by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).  We feel very thankful if they cherish this certificate.

 研修は順調に進んでいます。これから2か月以上あるので、研究とともに日本での生活を大いに楽しんでいってほしいものです。

The internship program is now going well and smoothly.  Since the period of more than 2 months remains for internship, we all expect that they enjoy not only campus life but also Japanese life.
