チュラ研修生のMai君歓迎会 Mai's welcome party

5/30から当研究室にチュラロンコーン大学から研修に来ているMai君の歓迎会を行いました。半月が経ってからの歓迎会でしたのでお互い緊張や遠慮なく会話していました。今回は、その様子を報告します。
Mai's welcome party, which you have come to study from Chulalongkorn University in our laboratory from May 30^th．Since we had a welcome party since half a month passed, we were talking and talking with each other without hesitation．This time we will report that also.

 

いつもは焼きそばやお好み焼きが並ぶ当研究室の宴会ですが、今回はMai君のリクエストによりお寿司などを用意することになりました。おかげで豪華？？な食事を食べることができました。
It is our banquet where yakisoba and okonomiyaki lined up, but this time we decided to prepare sushi etc．

 

左に写っているのがチュラ研修生のMai君で右に写っているのが今回お寿司の注文や、Mai君に食べたい食べ物を聞いてくれた大賀君です。この二人は同じスマホゲームで遊んだりと友好を深めています。

Mai kun on the left. It is Mr. Oga on the right, who listened to the orders of sushi．These two people seem to deepen friendship with playing with the same smartphone game.

歓迎会が終了した後にMai君によるタイ語の講座が始まりました。発音の仕方や母音の多さ(大体27種らしいです)を教えてもらいました。
A Thai course by Mai kun started after the welcome party ended．Was taught how to pronounce and the vowels of vowels (which seems to be about 27 kinds).

 

 

 

次にMai君に日本語を教えました。同じような発音(橋、端、箸など)の仕方やそれをひらがなで書く練習をしていました。日本語講座の最後はコンビニでよく聞かれることを教えました(Mai君がコンビニでよく買い物をするらしいです)。

Next, I taught Japanese to Mai．Mai was practicing writing with hiragana．At the end of a Japanese course, I taught at a convenience store  what would like to ask.

 

 片づけを終わらせた後に皆で写真をとりました。夜も遅かったので顔に疲れが見られますね。今後もMai君とたくさん関わっていきたいと思います。

Everyone took a picture after finishing the cleaning．I hope to continue to engage with Mai in the future．
